The View menu contains commands for displaying Navigation views and saved searches, viewing history, modifying the window layout, and setting personal options.
The following table briefly describes each command on the View menu. Refer to topics elsewhere in this guide for details.
Command | Description |

Refresh |
Updates the current Navigation view and property pages for the selected items. |
Change View |
Lists the Navigation views and saved searches in the current vault. For more information, see Selecting a Navigation view. |
Go to a work area |
Lists the work areas in the current vault. For more information, see Opening a work area. |
Go to the main area |
Sets the Main area as the current context. For more information, see Opening a work area. |
Go Back in Time |
Opens the vault at a selected baseline or moment in history. For more information, see Understanding history. |
Return to the Present |
Sets the time context to the current moment. For more information, see Understanding history. |
Arrange Layout |
Lists options for positions and visibility of the viewer pane, property pages, Shortcuts pane, and toolbars. For more information, see Arranging the window layout. |
Reset Layout |
Restores the default pane layout and visibility. For more information, see Arranging the window layout. |
Application Look |
Lists options for the window style and colors. For more information, see Configuring the application look. |
Options |
Displays personal options for modifying Meridian appearance and behavior. For more information, see Setting personal options. |
